It employs a rotating paddle and stationary cylindrical slurry cup assembly to condition the slurry, directly measuring the forces needed to initiate slurry movement, thus providing an accurate method for determining static gel strength. The TG-5265 CSGSA also features a post-test cooling device, an external cooling jacket attached to the pressure vessel, allowing cooling water circulation post-testing for efficient temperature management.
